Updated seven-day guidance: implementation not yet verified

The intended change requested on October 14, 2026 is to replace automatic Lost marking after seven idle days in In Communication with an internal reminder to the admin or intake coordinator.

Under the intended process, the admin or intake coordinator would review the lead and decide whether to manually mark it Lost or leave it In Communication. The passage of seven days alone would not automatically mark the lead Lost.

Implementation status: Deployment in the live workflow has not yet been verified. This guidance does not confirm that the existing countdown or its follow-up messages have changed.

Other ways the workflow starts

The same workflow also has triggers for a status changed to Lost or Abandoned, a status changed from Won to Open, and a change to the Not Qualified Lead field. Those use their own branches; they do not all wait seven days.

What Lost means

Lost is an opportunity status. It does not delete the person's contact record. Check your pipeline status filter if a lead no longer appears on the board.
