Want your consult calls to appear in Google Calendar and your busy times to stay unavailable for new bookings? Connect the Google Calendar used by the person taking the calls.
1. Start with the right person
Have your intake coordinator sign in to their own ClinicMonk™ account. Calendar connections belong to each person. Connecting the owner’s Google account won’t automatically connect the coordinator’s.
Go to Settings → Calendars → Connections. If you see a My staff list, check that the correct coordinator is selected.
2. Connect Google Calendar
Click Add new, then Connect beside Google calendar.
Use the Connect button on the Google calendar row. Click the screenshot to enlarge.
Choose the coordinator’s work Google account. Review and allow the calendar permissions needed to read busy times and add bookings. Return to ClinicMonk™ after connecting.
3. Choose where bookings go
In Calendar Configuration, choose Add or Edit beside Linked Calendar. Select the Google calendar where consult calls should appear, then save.
Under Conflict Calendars, select any other calendars ClinicMonk™ should check before offering a time. Events marked Busy block that time; events marked Free don’t.
Keep the existing sync preference unless the team advises otherwise. Two-Way Sync can turn Google events into appointments and create contacts or start automations.
4. Check it together
With the team, confirm that a consult appears in the correct Google calendar and that a Busy event removes that time from the booking page. If you see a reconnect warning, reconnect the same Google account.
If the linked-calendar options don’t appear, or you’re unsure which calendar to choose, use the support options below.
