This article explains what ClinicMonk™ sends when someone fills in the form to request your lead magnet — the guide itself, and the short follow-up that comes after it. Your lead magnet is the free resource you offer to attract new leads.
What starts it
Someone submitting the Lead Magnet Form — the form that offers your lead magnet. Requests can reach it from anywhere you've published the link, including the follow-up emails other ClinicMonk™ automations send.
There are two versions
ClinicMonk™ checks whether the person is already one of your clients, and sends a different version accordingly.
Existing clients get it on its own. One email, subject Your Welcome Resource, welcoming them and pointing them to the guide.
No booking link — they've already started with you — and no 3-email follow-up. They're then tagged for nurture, so they start the monthly nurture emails (the client version, without booking invitations).
Everyone else gets it plus a short sequence. Three emails over five days, each with a link to book a consult.
What a lead receives
When | |
Straight away | Your guide — sends them the lead magnet, encourages them not to try to fix everything at once, and suggests starting with one small step. Includes your consult booking link. |
3 days later | Start small — explains that trying to change everything at once tends to backfire, and offers to talk it through. Booking link again. |
2 days after that | You don't have to do this alone — acknowledges how normal it is to try to work things out alone, and invites them to book. |
After the third email, they're tagged for nurture, which starts a longer email sequence covered in its own article.
Everyone who requests it is marked as having it
Both versions tag the contact as having received the lead magnet. That tag is what stops other ClinicMonk™ automations offering them the same thing again — the consult follow-up and the new-client welcome both check it before sending.
Being emailed a link to the form doesn't set it. Only actually completing the form does.
